Will I receive a certification after I complete the course?
Yes, after successfully completing the course, you will receive a food handler’s certification as well as cut out wallet card. The wallet card contains a searchable QR code linking your unique operator ID to database of certified individuals in TX. You or your employer will be able to validate the document from anywhere simply by scanning the QR code.
Can I register now but take the training later?
Yes, you take take the training at your own pace. Furthermore, you have unlimited attempts of final exam, but must pass with a score of 70% or better to receive your certification.
Who is required to have a food handler's card?
The Food Handler Certificate is required for all employees who are involved in the preparation, storage, or service of food in a food facility.
Is the training accessible from my mobile phone?
Yes, the training videos and course are accessible through computer, tablet and phone.
